I’m Helen. I’m a full-time worker with a family of five members, including two kids. Nine years ago, I went to a Christmas party at my aunt’s house. To my surprise, she had invited people from different cultures, and I was intrigued when I heard someone whispering and commenting about how she had decorated the outdoors. For the commenter, my aunt had made an appealing combination of colour with furniture so that very limited people could do the same for the Christmas decoration.
After the party, I approached my aunt and asked whether the ornamentation level complimented by the party participants was a coincidence or a skill acquired from specific training. And before she answered me, she took me for a walk through the yard and showed and explained to me how she had carefully made decorations for that particular Christmas and the reasons for that specific combination she had chosen. Ultimately, she handed me a book with a valuable description of home and outdoor decorations, parties, and gifts.
At that point, I realized the reasons for the praise and decided to learn a little more about home and yard decoration and holiday gifts. As a busy mom, it took me a couple of months to start having an organized home.
Over two to three months, I developed a few simple cleanings and organizing habits, making my life easy and, most importantly, stress-free.
