Small Glass Containers with Lids

Small Glass Containers with Lids

I wanted to use small glass containers with lids for storing and preserving my food and I end up finding these pretty clear glass jars. After using them for almost a year I became so impressed that I decided to share with you my experience and thought about their features and use.
They come in I a pack of six and you can acquire two, three and even four packs at affordable price. I found several sizes out there but my preference is for those of 10 to 12 Oz each.

I use them for serving food, storing food, freezing food and stack them with different products but they do not fall over and break. With metal rings and sealing lids these high-quality containers have been trusted for over 120 years and I personal like that they are BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
I have been successful storing crackers or dry foods, but when you are preserving broth, I don’t recommend you to fill it all the way to the top because liquids expand when they freeze and they will blow the top off. I like that it is made of a clean glass to show you how full it should be when you pour to fill them up with whatever it is you're going to store.

The lid is easy to come off, even for someone like me that has weak hands I can just give it a few little squeezes and it's going to release the contents in about a minute or two out of the freezer. It is so simple to get content out of the jar which is really handy and nice.
If I have made a broth or soup or something hot, I allow it to cool for a little while before I put the lid on because the steam from it will rise up and make your lid not exactly seal. This can result on a suspicion that the item is not completely leak-proof. From other things that you've prepared, you probably know that you almost have to burp the lid and get the air out from the steam that rises from the heat.

These small glass containers with lids are very nice. They keep things fresh and nice. I've been using them for about a year and I love it that when you're done using them you can stack them easily. They don't take up so much space in your cupboards and I like having the two different sizes because sometimes I want to have just little bit of sauce left over from making a pizza sauce. I don't want to store a great big amount and I don't want to fill a container just halfway because then it doesn't keep the freshness of my frozen items as nicely as I would like.
I think these are great for bone broths, juices, sauce, salsa, sauces and all kinds of things like that. So, click the link above to understand more about these small glass containers with lids and see if they are going to be what you need to help you prepare and store food that you're preserving for your family.
